Isis
This one came to me piece by piece. I started with the center piece, and then didn't know what to do with it. After some contemplation and trial and error, I put it together with spirals.
Upon completion, recognition was nagging me, but I couldn't place what the design reminded me of. Then it hit me. Images of the Egyptian goddess Isis where she's depicted with wings and a sun in her crown.
The design employs overlapping spirals leading to a center piece of red dyed horn wrapped in fine gauged wire. The delicate wire wrapping is shaped in a slight wave to give it a little nuance of movement.
There are also matching earrings for this necklace.
Currently, this item is unavailable. I posted it as an example. I do plan on having similar necklaces to offer in the near future, though.
